Stowmarket High School Rewarded Funding
This month, I was thrilled to hear Mid Suffolk Council announce their investment of £4.8 million to Stowmarket High School. This money will make a direct difference by adding at least 300 school places, increasing the total to 1,200, which serves as a hugely positive recognition of the school’s hard work.
This investment is part of a larger project costing £10 million which will see the school expand its spaces as well as its student cohort. It commits to delivering a new classroom block featuring a hall, up to 11 modern learning spaces, a dedicated reflection room, and essential administrative facilities.
This represents an exciting step for Stowmarket High School and a strong endorsement of their future. I look forward to seeing the progress that is made with this funding.
