Have Your Say This Summer

One of the greatest privileges of being your Member of Parliament is hearing directly from the people I represent. Every conversation on the doorstep, every email, every visit to one of my advice surgeries and every community event helps me better understand the issues that matter most to our area.

Last year, I launched my first constituency listening survey, and the response was fantastic. Thousands of residents took the time to share their views, giving me valuable insight into the challenges facing our communities and the priorities people wanted me to focus on. Those responses have helped shape my work both here in the constituency and in Parliament over the past year.

Today, I'm launching my 2026 Constituency Listening Survey, and once again I'd really value your views.

Whether your priorities are the NHS, the cost of living, roads and transport, housing, education, our local environment, or something completely different, I want to hear from you. Your responses will help me understand what's working, where more needs to be done, and where I should focus my efforts over the coming months.

Being an effective local MP starts with listening. While I can't promise to solve every problem, I can promise to take your views seriously and ensure they inform the work I do on your behalf.

The survey will remain open until 31 August, and I hope as many residents as possible will take a few minutes to complete it.
