Here’s a brief overview of some of the things I have been doing this week across the constituency and in Parliament!

Constituency

Met with the Headteacher of Cedars Park Primary School to discuss Early Years Education and the White Paper on SEND. Followed by a meeting with the School Council.
Attended the Suffolk Justice Service, at St Edmundsbury Cathedral, celebrating those who uphold justice and support our communities across Suffolk.

Parliament

Spoke in the chamber about what measures will be taken to better diversity in magistrate recruitment.
Spoke in Westminster Hall Debate on the shortcomings of Royal Mail and the poor service being provided to rural communities across the UK.
Attended a ministerial surgery on the issue of the BBC World Service asking for ring fenced protection and long-term sustainable funding commitments.
